plastic

we went and visited a kampung - poor village area- of jakarta one saturday morning. our friends were there helping out on a giant medical day and we went and wandered around with this group of children that befriended us. the thing that i coudnt get over was the amount of plastic and garbage everywhere in this village. kids playing in it, chickens pecking in it, even goats wandering around and sniffing out what they could.
